Lived on Balboa, right behind the Air National Guard hangars at Van Nuys Airport. Go to Tommy's Burgers on Victory, then head to Van Nuys Blvd. Every now and again those Guardsmen would roll the C130s out of the hangars at 3am to surprise the neighbors :lol:. Wouldn't fly anywhere, just sit on the tarmac and test their RPM capabilities :lol:.

Still drop in there for a burger, fries, and a Pepsi. Usually after the Spring/Fall Fling. :-)
