Has anybody noticed...Telemarketing and Spam calls slowed down.

At the risk of getting more....Knock on wood. The daily onslaught of unwanted calls has significantly subsided since the virus scare. Maybe the boiler rooms are shut down for now. Just an observation.

That's funny!
I string them along and then tell them I have a 74 Duster. That usually does the trick.

Fortunately, I have a pretty good filter on my phone, but one or two will get through.
 
Yes absolutely, we generally get one call a day.never leave a message but the phone keeps a log of missed calls.Since the start of the panic the count is still at zero!
 
Dropped the land line 6 months ago. Been getting a few a week on my cell phone. Almost always the girl from credit card services (who wants to cut my interest rates), car warranties and free Hilton Hotel stays.

I DONT ANSWER CALLS THAT I DONT RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER , IF ITS IMPORTANT , THEY`LL LEAVE A MESSAGE.
I GOT ONE YESTERDAY , WAS THE WEIRDEST EVER , WAS SENT TO MORE THAN ONE PERSON IN THE FAMILY, I DELETED IT W/O READING IT IMMEDIATELY, BUT FAMILY MEMBERS KEPT TEXTING '' STOP'' BACK TO WHO EVER IT WAS, I DELLETED THEM W/O OPENING TOO .
 
Thank the heavens, I block & delete over 10 to 20 of their calls a day on my phone. Maybe Covid19 will put them all out of business.
 
Still getting a call or two per day (which I don't answer), but they are not even leaving messages anymore!

i would prefer that
drives me crazy, my phone will "block" certain calls, but allow them to leave a message

Maybe they all got the virus and died? If so, good riddance. I hope it was a miserable experience.

There is a special place in Hell reserved for these guys.
 
Well, so much for that!
Got two already this morning.
Apparently my Hilton booking # is eligible for something. Didn't listen to the rest of it.
 
The iPhone has a setting to Silence Unknown Callers, call goes to voice mail and shows in the recent list. Not for everybody but for me I love it.
