Agree. I studied this design at one time, the engineer who had to make it work was like, you have to be kidding. I stood for a long time till it was deemed unsafe and was restored around 2003? Preservation History - Fallingwater
Yeah, most of the issue was with the engineering that used reinforced concrete which was a new material at that time. They just didn’t have the experience to understand the engineering requirements to build that way.
