Hey dudes! im planing on buying a third member which is a suregrip 3.91 but the thrust pin has been removed, my question is what are the steps to reinstall it, and do they sell new thrust pins? the case is 741. thanks! Oh and i running stock 5 on 4 axles

Thrust pin? 741 cases with sure grip are in reality Dana 4 spider center assemblies, In my understanding. If you are talking about what I would call the thrust spool for the axles to set end play. Then fairly simple. It is two halves with a roll pin in the middle to connect. Similar to a thread spool. You can install this without total disassembly. Doubt they are sold as such. You will have to source it from old stock or pieces folks have laying around. Maybe Dr. Diff.

This kit is used in 8 3/4" differentials with clutch type Sure-Grip prior to 1970. The kit is required to provide axle thrust surface in four-spider differential applications. One is required per vehicle.
