No, it is tight, but i turned the motor over numerous times, and this lifter started de-priming; assumed to be from being beat by the notchy rocker

mark the way the shaft notches are
check the rest of your rockers keeping the in orider
check the cups and check the shoes and where they ware on the shafts
check the shafts
need new contact rocker arm specialists in anderson ca
check the ends of your pushrods
I would not use new rockers with worn pushrods

I will pull them apart now, and post pictures of any proof of wear. This is the only on that shows some weird play, and putting the stethoscope on it while cranking to motor, it is very apparent that is is coming from this one. Also, I would most definitely get new shafts if replacing rockers.
