New to Site......

Good evening Race Fans ....Thanks again for the warm welcome. So Project 53 still has a way to go as all you know as soon as you THINK that you covered every angle, made everything race ready (A term we used back when running the circle track car) there comes another list....... Look at this, Check this, Don't like the way this turned out or looks like I could improve this or that............. Anytime you are putting parts together from the 1930s to 2020 there will be a need to sometimes revisit some systems.
On to Project 72......Here is project 72 another car found on Craig's list. No it was not quite the cream puff the guy described as when we looked under the car he was made aware of things he did not see when he purchased the car. Never the less this car came from West Texas which is a desert region of the Lone Star state and he had good clear papers/Title on this ride so we made a deal and we loaded it on the car hauler and it is on my build list. Cars fair much better out in West Texas than living there life in Corpus Christi which is on the Gulf of Mexico. Slat water haven of Texas, Great fishing, The beach, Port Aransas (Top ten college destination for Spring Break) you get the idea.....but Not friendly to the automobile enthusiast.
Ideas...
This was a slant 6- 3 on the tree car .....Everyone has their idea and since it already is a standard shift car should I go small block 4 speed / Big block 4 speed / Small block 727/ small block 904........ I am just fortunate to have that many possibilities.....Chime in tell me what you think......There is some rust in the trunk down in the spare tire wheel well ....Easy repair but not much else....Its been a hot rod (abused ) by the holes cut in the tunnel, rear end is shot. etc.....It needs lots of Love...DSCF4063.JPG DSCF4064.JPG DSCF4065.JPG DSCF4066.JPG DSCF4067.JPG
