Stop in for a cup of coffee

Our local Elk's club has 2 big fund raisers every year that usually coincide. A 3 day PRCA Rodeo and a raffle, $100 raffle for a car. For many years the Chevrolet dealer donated a new Corvette for the raffle prize. I just saw this year's flyer. A completely restored 1964 Mustang is the grand prize. This virus is going to put a big hurt on the Rodeo side of their fund raising for numerous reasons. Rodeo weekend is usually weekend after Memorial Day and it includes a big parade through town. There are some crafty characters in that lodge. They will come up with something.

I am just glad to be alive, thank you.....
The cough is the worst. After the rest......Cough sticks around...I donated my blood for Covid 19 study, they are going to try to use my anti bodies in a cure of some sort....

Not really. The vectors the CDC are following show that the New Orleans cases started with a single traveler who, by unfortunate circumstance, travelled through Singapore on a connecting flight home and spread the virus unknowingly.

The point is, we can’t be looking for blame...just solutions going forward.

It’s here now and we have to fight it.
I would not say "blame". Just statistics. Ya know, so we can learn.

That's why I would rather not talk about it here. Here in the coffee shop. Let's let this place be where we can come to get away from it all. There are probably a dozen threads about current events in the general forums. Lord only knows how many in the News and Politics area. And I don't even want to talk about FBBO. That place is a mess. Let's keep the politics out of here and the Coronavirus to a bare minimum. Remember, each and every one of you have the power to stop a conversation at any time.

I only posted here because it seemed the most responsive to the situation. I concur.

I agree, I'd rather not talk about all this virus stuff or politics here.

Now I need to keep the cat off the car. If he sits on the duster with them dingle bells, I will need to rush to the car wash.

I'm still wondering what "GT" stands for.

Got this mustang GT in the yard, so I think it means "great trouble"

I am really seriously liking this tool box.

US general from harbor freight. I have not read any bad reviews on it and my friend has one and it's really a good box.

I don't have that kind of money right now but I'm thinking this summer.......I want this box now.

They even come in different colors. No pink, so I think I like the black one
44 in. x 22 In. Double Bank Green Roller Cabinet

I know TP is tough to find lately. But, you can spare one square to wipe the cat's butt.

They aren't bad for the price. Mac had pink boxes available at one time for Breast Cancer Awareness. They were cool. The grey and pink one may still be available.

For the price on a Mac, I can get the HF one and 2 quarts of FM3 pink and paint it.

I'm thinking of painting my existing craftsman boxes. They are old and have overspray and scars from my garage rodeos over the years lol.

The main thing I like about a new toolbox is they make a lot of lower and wider ones now.

My old ones are stacked, so the top drawers don't do me much good because the stack is almost 6 feet tall so I use the upper drawers for seldom used items since I need a step ladder to even see that stuff.

Thanks for the phone number tip.

I'm pretty happy with my. When I started this job, I didn't want to take my MAC in. So, I bought a top and bottom HF 26" set for $299. $100 off regular price. Watch for there sales!!! I got mine around labor Day

Lively bunch in here tonight.

This would normally be my night to go to IHOP by myself to thoroughly enjoy breakfast for late dinner...... but I doubt IHOP is open, and they are saying cops are stopping people who are roaming.

Yea, I don't want a repeat of last time i went to jail.......

Very similar, but mine came as a set. That was over 2 years ago. That 'series 2' must be new. They keep changing them slightly, so really need to go look it over good in store. I know some I looked at had some goofy catches on the drawers. Display models were already messed up that the drawers were hard to open. The one I got the drawers have a slight resistance when you start to pull them. Only thing I didn't like. The bottom was very flimsy. I added a couple pieces of unistrut in the base to strengthen it.
I'd be guessing on the height, but I can see in the top. So maybe 5'4"?
