I have done it but 30 or so years ago,
how do I get the connectors to come out of the engine side of the bulkhead connector,
I need a refresher so I don't destroy things,
Thanks Dave

I used to make wiring harness for Ferds in 1978 at Essex Wire and had to remove connectors all the time. We took a 1/8" allen key and ground the end down to a screw drive style point and push it in the connector plastic to release the tab.

If you simply search for photos online of the terminals you can see what needs to be. A tiny screwdriver to release the tang

On the male end, the retainer is the "finger" at the lower right in this photo

I make tools for that out if the little stainless steel strip in old windshield wiper blades. Swapping fuse blocks is prominent in collision repair.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions, will make that tool , although, I have broke that tang off (my Bad), and still can't get it to move, more patience.
We have the best members here, without their help I would be lost.

I Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy,
I work in grocery and have been working my butt
off this last month, so I have not looked at the wiring
connector issue, until today.
I could not get the end out of the bulkhead connector
no matter what tool I used, so I took the other 6 out in,
like 2 minutes with no problem, the fusible link blade end
was put in opposite to all the others from the factory, a magnifying
glass helped me figure that out.
it seemed to jam it in and I had to sort of dig the tangs out of the
plastic, finally got it and yes there was blood from the mini screwdriver
meeting my hand, now I can replace the fusible link, still looking for an NOS one.
Thanks for all the help and input

Trying to remove my fusible link now - 73 Dart Sport 340. When you say release the tang, do you mean press it in toward the other side? Don't want to screw up the housing.

Yes. If you look at the male terminal photo, and lay your screwdriver "down on the page" so the blade is pressing left and slightly upwards at the small part of the terminal........the part that is to the right in the photo, you just "spring" it. The rearmost part of the ear is the "latch" that keeps it from going to the rear out of the shell

It often helps if you can push on the wire side as if trying to insert the terminal deeper into the shell, and it should release and the terminal pull right out. Sometimes especially on the large gauge wires, the heat will partially melt the shell and "bind" the terminal

Thanks! Another reason I consider you one of the most knowledgeable guys on this site.

LOL I don't know ****, I'm just old and had a lot of stuff happen. Thanks, tho.
