With this virus floating around, many of us are restricting our outings to the most necessary of requirements. I have been refraining from too much venturing, but that isn't really all the new for me. I often spend days without going anywhere. I love my shop!
Anyway, one thing I do miss is going out to a movie at the theater. I do enjoy the big screen. Having said that, it is also probably one of the dirtiest places you could go!

What do you miss doing the most?

Well, right now, i miss going into Denny's in the morning for a big breakfast, and there is a nice Chinese restaurant that a friend takes me to, for a lunch, that i miss.
But, Lowes, and Ace Hardware, and Home Depot, are still open, so all is not lost.

Not wearing a mask to every call at work....I just want to get back to “normal”

I miss going out for dinners too, but my wife is an excellent cook so the alternative is fine for that. Hanging with friends is definitely up there. I will really miss that once it is a bit warmer here and we should be in my back yard around a fire. :(

I miss going for lunch on weekends, or just going for a drive somewhere and stopping at random spots if something looks interesting. I still go to work every day 8 to 9 hours, still take my dogs for walks as often as I can, just don't socialize or meet up with any friends.

Buying toilet paper. Lol

Bought some yesterday, riteaid had it.
1.10 cent kind
One per customer..
So the wife got out n bought one too.

Friends told me they were using the restrooms at restaurants and rolling it all off the roll onto their hands and taking it home.
Wow.

Well I’ve been taking a 1.5 mile Riverwalk almost daily but held off yesterday due to thunderstorms, lightning, and real hard rain. The river was getting so nice I almost bought my 2020 Pa fishing license. Glad I didn’t yet as the river was crazy high today. Ohhh well maybe next week. Maybe hit the pistol range this week instead.

Honestly going to work. After nearly 50 years many of my customers have become friends and I really enjoy what I do. Stayin home with the wife is great and sleeping in is pretty nice but the days are runnnnning together. Not risking it tho.

Being with friends and family. I haven't held my granddaughters, 4 yrs. and an 11 month old, in 17 days, miss them greatly. We haven't gone out to dinner in weeks. My wife refuses to order food from any place. I need a pizza. You miss all the things we take for granted.

I have a large family that often gets together just to share a meal and talk, talk a lot. With all that is going on, we have all promised each other than we will abide by this religiously. I have 19 first cousins who are all baby boomers, and with our spouses it's 30 people. Many have other underlying issues, so we call, face time and wait.

What I miss doing the most is freely shopping and going into stores and businesses.
The safe distancing thing is also starting to bug me a bit, especially at work.
I would also like to visit my friends and family at will instead of just talking to people via phone or text.
Also, I think it will be a long time until things get back to ''normal'' as it will take a long time for people to trust where they are going will actually be safe.
I can see horrible attendance to theaters, sporting events, and concerts as well as churches, car shows, and any public gathering of more than 50 people.
It will take a long time for everyone to really trust other people especially traveling to another country that was a ''hot spot'' such as Italy, China, or Spain.
Trust in others will be a big thing that people will have to get over.
And that will be hard.

My personal life hasnt changed much, as my wife and I spend a lot of time on our little 20 acre property during off time. I do miss my business trips to go and see customers in person. That was kind of my ticket to the outside world. (We both already had home offices!)

I miss going to the village to rape and pillage, from my Viking days....

My 10th grade home room teacher. She was hawt.

Going to my grandson's sporting events. He is at the age where his body is coordinating with his brain , 12 years old.

Working..... We are on decreased hours. Worked my whole life and that's what I do. It's not for everyone. Things will come around shortly and we will be crazy busy once again....

Going to church, spending time with my family, and going to the drag strip.

Church, how could I forget, I miss mass . Honestly I attend mass by myself. My wife is of a different denomination. Worshiping alone in church is one of the best hours of the week. Strange, but being alone I feel it's me and God, and I'm personally with Him.
