Ok, so I'm in the middle of doing the bodywork on my Scamp project here
72 Scamp 440 Build
and have come to the point of working on the passenger fender. I found that the fender was originally from a 70 Valiant and I have the badges that would have gone on the fender, I wanted to see what people think of how my Idea looks.
Here is a mock-up of it, do you like it? I'm a little torn on it. Have any of you done custom emblems for your car?

I like it.

Looks like it could have been that way from the factory.

...although I might put it below the body line.

Didn't Scamps have chrome pot metal script that said..... wait for it....... "Scamp" on the rear quarter just behind the door or maybe on the fender? If you go that way remember that the script all looks the same once installed but Plymouth, for unknown reasons, made 2 versions and the mounting pin locations have different spacing. I had a bunch of these for a Scamp project that is long since sold, bit I can give you the number of the parts dealer that I sold all the extras to if you PM me.

If you decide to go with the Valiant script (which is very classy) I agree with another poster - below the body line.

The first year or two the Scamp was produced, the Scamp nameplate was a sticker instead of the chrome nameplate. I think (but don’t know for sure) that ‘73 and newer had the chrome Scamp nameplate while earlier years had the Scamp sticker.
