Church, how could I forget, I miss mass . Honestly I attend mass by myself. My wife is of a different denomination. Worshiping alone in church is one of the best hours of the week. Strange, but being alone I feel it's me and God, and I'm personally with Him.

We stream Sunday school and worship, we also stream our Wednesday night service, then I have a Bible study with the girlfriends church on Thursday. Before all this mess I was spending three days a week in fellowship. Not seeing those folks really made me realize how important it is.

We are still having Church (as houses of worship are deemed essential in michigan), but only wednesday, main service on Sunday, and sunday evening
No sundayschools, no friday or Saturday prayer meetings, no bus ministry

We are a small church in a decent size building, so keeping the 6 foot distance is no problem

We also recommend the "representative" system
We figured there is at least one person in the family that still goes to work, and to the store and to the gas station

So for the families worried about the virus, we suggest that instead of the entire family coming to Church, only that one person who still runs all the errands comes
(I asked if I could send the kids as representatives, so I could get some time alone with the wife, but that was a no-no)

Dinner out with the wife and boys, the conversation flowing. On the flip side one son is home due to work closing, and he cant see his girl, so he's all mine! Enjoying working in the garage again with him. Like before he got busy with life.

Are they all closed there? Deemed "essential" businesses by the CT authorities.
No, but I’m trying to stay safe because Nella would not do well if the virus came into our house. Nothing I’m doing could be classified as essential anyway.
Except to me, of course!

man, I haven't thought about that young lady in a while, how is she doing ?

My girlfriend works at Walgreens so I told her she can't come over anymore.... So I miss well you know. Boobs.

With puplic health being critical ...people who still feel they should go to church must also have no issue meeting the lord soon there after.

House of the lord is your heart.
You need not gather to worship god.
Sheeple or people....you decide

Wake up people.

Where people meet god is with them. Even if it’s just a couple at a home.

Church is not a building. When folks gather at a race track to worship it is church. When folks gather on a lake in their boats to worship it is church. When a family gets together and worships it is church. It is absolutely crucial to assemble and a large group of people meeting together offers more resources. That doesn’t mean that god is not with those who don’t physically walk into the same building.

I miss the morning coffee shop routine. I miss some of my customers. i miss saturday and sunday breakfast with my best friends.
since jan2, i really miss my dog.
you all be safe, the world is a better place with you in it.

Nella is doing pretty good, although she never really recovered from all that CDiff trouble. Health wise she’s ok, but she never got her motivation back, she takes naps sometimes in the morning, and her foot pain issue is always there as usual. If she were to get the virus, I don’t know if she would be able to fight it off. Her breath control has always been very limited, and she can’t fight off diseases like most people. We really have to watch her and try to keep any outside exposure to a minimum. Just having to go to the grocery store worried me, those people are crazy, and would have no problem coming out carrying the virus just to get some toilet paper, or lick the cart handles.

Of course, I would like to add that we really appreciate every bodies friendship and compassion for Nella here. We feel that this is one big family here, that cares for it’s members waaaay more than most people do nowadays. It’s nice to have friends like you all here, it means the world to us! Super cyber Nella hugs for all!!

I’ve seen you mention her before but man does this help put things into perspective. My good friends dad has COPD, much different than what your girl had obviously. This is a terrifying time for him and unfortunately his wife is still working. She is doing everything she can to avoid bringing it home but you just never know.

I'm not missing anything; we are not on lockdown. So whatever I was doing before this hoopla, I'm still doing it.
Except for one thing; my daughter used to bring her kids over every second Wednesday for daycare here. And the following week, they would come on Friday. And on Fridays after her workday was done, she would come and have drinks with my wife, stay the night, and Saturday night, and most of Sunday.I don't drink, nor hang out with those that do. Especially not with silly hens that get sillier with every sip.
Well this corona deal closed the schools, and her employer sent her home. So no daycare , here.
Oh blessed peace and quiet at last!; all thanks to corona.
Don't get me wrong, I love my grandkids, just not every second weekend for ~3 days and 2 nights. And no, I'm not missing them........yet.
I have a 79year old non-Christian friend who runs errands for the older folks in town, you know; the old, the feeble, the sick, and the dying. He prepares and brings me lunch every Saturday and every Tuesday, while I am policing the waste management station (local dump). We visit for a while, and then he continues his route. Two to four times a week, he comes over to my house, to repeat all his bs stories to me, which I respectfully re-hear. I mean they are pagan stories of a Godless man, so of no interest to me. But he is a recent widow, so I'm sorta taking care of him in his time of need.
The point is this; he is rubbing elbows with dozens of prime-candidates to be corona victims. He sneezes on me, coughs on me, we go out once a week and dine together. We rub shoulders, shake hands, and I accept rides from him.
And I eat everything he brings me.
and I will not close my home to him.
Nor to any other neighbors who occasionally show-up.
My family with children are staying away....... cuz #1, they have no faith, and #2, you know; I'm old, one of the 4 most likely candidates to be selectively hit by this "intelligent",lol, virus; that somehow knows who to hit, and who gets a free pass.
This is only the first wave, folks........ Whatcha gonna do when the next one comes? Or the next one? Are you gonna be fooled into taking "the mark"?

You couldn't get me in ANY group of people right now.
I'm not freaked out or anything like that, just smarter than some.

Been nice knowing you AJ.:realcrazy:

I also miss buying toilet paper:(
I have not missed any work and if I got it , It would kill me no doubt.
I guess I`m a friggen essential pipe welder:wtf:
1 more week the job will be finished and I will stop playing China roulette,

Linda and I don't go out much any ways but we did cancel our once a month trip to the Casino and will probably not plan on it for at least another month. We do enjoy going out to eat Chinese and Mexican food and miss that but Linda is a good cook and made me a great stir Fry last night. Linda mostly misses her garage sale's. Better safe than sorry though.
