actually it doesnt, keeps the height leveled when i got a bunch of stuff in the trunk rides nice,Nope. Bad idea, just like air shocks to raise the ride height.
The shock mounts aren’t designed to carry spring load. If you need stiffer springs, install stiffer springs.

i have also had air shocks they do not compare at all air shocks are really stiff the car rides too hard. These ride great they are not stiff, just a little more stiff than the regular stock shocks.
Do you have the part numbers for the sachs shocks you used ?I put Sachs shocks on the wagon last year. They're more expensive than Monroe or Gabriel, but nowhere near Bilstein money. I've been happy with them for a daily driver type ride, I think they are a better shock than Monroe or Gabriel.
And I'll agree with 72blunblu, anything is better than KYB. I made that mistake on my Scamp, the ride would be nicer if I welded steel tubes in place of the shocks.
And the coils will grab the fuel tank lip when going over bumps. (don't ask me how I know.) I peeled the tank out of my 65 Dart when bouncing over rough train tracks. It was on the highway and there was no fire but scary as hell! Back in about 70'Nope. Bad idea, just like air shocks to raise the ride height.

i have never had any of these problems on any of my abodys with load levelers, maybe the design has changed because i can compress the shocks when new they are no way rock hard, just a firm shock at mostAnd the coils will grab the fuel tank lip when going over bumps.
