Gas Pump Handles!!!!!!!!!

-
I have a box of nitrile gloves that I purchased at Harbor Freight. They are medium duty, 5 mils thick, 100 in the box, and will hold water. They were cheap, and work great. I put on on when I go to the gas station, and throw it in the trash when leaving the pump.

That is the way to go. Remember, run your middle finger up under the glove on the opposite wrist and turn it inside out and toss it, and repeat. And sanitize too.
.....I’m a total germaphobe!

Local station from a grocery chain has two employees out with spray sanitizer hosing down the pumps after each use. I use my work gloves to pump my diesel and after that I wipemyhandswith hand sanitizer.

Before long, there will be able supply of N95 masks, and then the experts will tell you to wear them any and all times around people!! Then in a few more month HF will have them on sale, 100 for $3 !!!!

The woman at my local market was kind enough, and smart enough, to push the buttons on the card reader for me.
She had gloves on as well.

Just a thought, it's nice to see people wearing gloves, but that only protects them.

I keep a box of gloves in truck, put them on immediately after getting outside of truck. Then into the box before I get back in truck. Nothing gets touched with bare hand or finger. All groceries wiped down with water and vinegar. Then rinse with water.
From what I've read vinegar and water will disable/kill the virus. Easily killed but easily transmitted.
Be healthy and safe.

I keep a roll of dog poop bags in the vehicle to do fill ups with. I use a paper towel from the window wash stand to hold and swipe the card, and use the bag to push buttons and work the pump handle. I also have a roll of paper towels and a spray bottle with a mix of Dawn dish soap and water to wash my hands with.
