There is absolutely no way around it. When you’ve got a bunch of stuff in the trunk, the difference in ride height for your car with those shocks, compared to regular shocks, is all load on the shock mounts.

Those springs are carrying the extra load and putting it directly on the shock mounts. If they weren’t, the ride height would be the same as with regular shocks.

If they don’t raise the unloaded ride height then they’re better than air shocks, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t adding additional load to the shock mounts. If you’re always hauling a bunch of stuff and your springs sag too much when you do, you need new springs.
