The road I lived on had a hill so we would have little races with other friends. We got into Karts also. Both homemade with old 3 horse side shaft mower engines & track style with Westbend engines.
 
Sponsored a soap box car in 1980's. Gave the kid a $500.00 check for expenses to go to Akron...the kid darn near peed his pants!
