Stan, unfortunately I am. But it beats the alternative by leaps & bounds. I started drag racing, being a gofer for a neighbor at the old Eastex dragway in 1961 at the ripe age of 9. I had an interest in cars from a very young age, my next door neighbor when I was 7-8 years old have a 57 Savoy. I was always watching from my back yard when he worked on it. When my folks moved in 1960, I prowled the neighborhood until I met GR. I hung around his garage & did gofer work. One day, he said "Let's go see if your folks will let you go racing with me" & that was my start. Now everyone can do the math. LMAO

Alan,
I know that cars and classes changed every year. And they were different between each sanctioning body. I think a few of your pictures of the Schultz's D/Dart show it with H/S on the side glass. Since the car wasn't very competitive as designed, I wonder if Wayne changed engines in the car. Any thoughts?
The other Alan

i don't think we will know. His email to me only said he dropped out of the D/Dart program mid season and did not follow the D/Darts after that.
The photo you refer shows what looks like H/SO on the window.

My mistake.
Just looked at one of Pauls old threads, the MYTH one, for class information. Looks like the D/Darts were H/S at the AHRA tracks. The "O" is option and it should be followed by a number. It shows up good on the side of the San Leandro Dodge.
