My wife and I work for the same company and are both salaried. We are DINKS " Double Income No KidS"! She will go on 2 days a week furlough for 5 weeks while I choose to go 2 weeks in alternate pay periods for the expected time. As we get two checks a month each. Fortunately we have reserves and will be fine. The Company mandates absolutely no work during that time! It will be hard to shut off the phone and computer during , which is why I wanted full weeks. Easier to set VM and out of office replies that way!
