My Son's birthday today-----------

So my wife was looking through the albums for photos of when he was young. She found these of my 2nd 55 Chevy so I thought I would share. The first one is the before photo of my one owner Bel-Air coupe. Originally a 265 4V powerpak 3 speed manual with overdrive.SAM_3343.JPGThis is the after photo, the car is now a 327 350 HP with a Muncie 4 speed. The finished car has the chrome headliner rails and a metalflake blue diamond tuck & roll interior with gunmetal metallic grey Imron paint. All mechanical and body & paint were done by me, I hired the interior done locally. This was late 70's or early 80's. Ran out of rent & grocery money and had to sell the car to feed the family but I have a lot of fond memories of this car. Sorry about the quality but they are photos of old photos. The finished car never lost a race that I remember but I remember breaking a lot of rear ends and drivelines. Had it up on 2 wheels a couple times, taught me to spend a little on the suspension too:-)
