Upstate NY botched paint job help
This is another one of those "buddy" deals that bit me hard. I've always wanted a good 70's style panel/fade paint job. It is definitely not what Ive got here. The s.o.b cleared over the mess to boot. I sanded the crap out of it last year to break through the clear coat with the hopes of it at least looking like an old weathered paint job. That didn't really work either. I have no experience in painting and am on the fence wether to repaint the whole car solid orange and get a factory stripe kit or tape off the botched panel job and work with someone to salvage it. Any solid advice would be greatly appreciated. Jeff
