The casting number is 2863085 and has a 10/10/68 year cast into it. I can't seem to find any references to it anywhere.

Thank you!

Maybe? I got it as is from a swap meet a couple years ago. The guy was trying to sell it as a big block bellhousing so he clearly had no idea.
It's got me intrigued. I've looked into the Orion name along with the date and nothing yet but perspiring minds have to know. :)

Interesting, no idea. Obviously not a big block as it has a bolt hole on the top center, that is small block pattern...

Hello All,
As another option,
You can try calling Brewers and asking them.

Great advice.
I'm also thinking that it might be a truck or industrial application.........

Hello All,
Totally agree with Dartnut. (corrected on 4/01/20 name typo)
A lot of engines were used for Industrial applications. Just some that come to mind that I have seen over the years are,
Ski lift drives, Farm irrigation pump, Fork lifts, Load All's, and so on.
Always amazes me when I see a common automotive part wind up in a unlikely place.
OR could it be a UK bellhousing ?
Keep us updated as to your quest.
Stay safe,
Happy Mopar :)

Yeah that's a good idea. I actually have been emailing him about another bellhousing I have. I'll mention this one too him and see what he thinks.

Just trying to identify it as of right now. If it does go up for sale I'll definitely post it here first.
