Speedometer

68 up it's a press on cable. Send to speedometer shop. Light oil inside slip ring is probably dried out causing needle to stick and not return to zero if that's the issue. You may be able to remove the speedometer from the cluster yourself, and carefully clean and re oil it with light sewing machine oil to free it up so it zeroes out.

Also the clock spring can rotate not allowing the needle to return to zero. I have this issue with my 70 cluster and need to pull it apart again. Did it once already, but it rotated again due to vibration. Will put a drop of of rtv to hold it next time.
