Quarter panel replacement

Is the top photo the body shops finished work? That’s brutal. Did you see some of his work on other cars before letting him work on your car? Hopefully you didn’t pay a lot for that work.
I’d be concerned with the bottom most portions of the quarter panel you left on as it could have rust with lots of bondo ontop. It’s those lowest segments that have the most rust.

I left the bottom portions because the lower quarter had no rust at all. He used filler on those portions because the center of the quarter was smashed in so I am thinking that he was trying to build that panel up. What gets me is that prior to him starting the work I offered to buy a quarter skin but he said not to worry because he could pull that out. Yes I saw pictures and some cars that he claims he did. No I didn’t pay $$. We were going to trade his work for my 67 Cuda 4spd project car and a back half 69 Cuda shell.Needless to say he didn’t get my 67.
