This is Skip...
skip cut01.jpg

for some odd reason I can't shake him as a friend...Skip is one my bike racing buddies. He has went 8.1@170 on his Nitrous Bike....sprayed 140 shot, stock internals including the stock 13:1 or so pistons. Decided he was going to bump it up to a 160 shot. Did not check the jets, just assumed that the jets were as marked on the factory sealed boxes..they were not. 3 160 jets, 1 60 jet. If he gets a dozen passes on a motor he is doing good. He also has a Hayabusa that has a turbo. 16 pounds of boost....again with stock internals. Bike runs low nines@165 or so. Has broken the 200mph mark in a rolling half mile.....his tuner....well...I think he is going to have a stroke one of these days, he simply can't get thru to Skip that he needs a good set of pistons/rods to do the crap he is doing. Almost forgot....he drained his fuel tank at the dyno shop, filled it with nitromethane...and ended up vaporizing his pistons.
Anyway...if any of you folks out there in FABO land have any good carnage images, blocks split, windowed, transmissions with gigantic holes/cracks etc I would greatly appreciate you posting them here...with the understanding that I will use them to create some images to honor my friend. If I can get enough images I would like to perhaps make a 20"x30" collage type of image and have it printed for him.
If any of you decide to help me out, you have my gratitude.

Top pick is from a MP Crate 360. Blew the skirts off the Hyper pistons, apparently they don’t like 7000RPM shifts. Thats a piston ring in the upper right hand corner. Son of a ***** still ran!

2nd pic is from a stock 318 bottom end, HydroLocked.....

It’s amazing the **** I find in my oil pan running 6PSI of boost and a 150 shot of N2O.... LOL. If I cant blow it up with the blower, I’ll blow it up with the nitrous!

A windowed 727.....

we need to see carnage pics from Skip's adventures too

Please keep them coming folks. Skips carnage...the nitro thing happened before we met. His friend Matt has some pictures of it on his phone, I just need to bug him. I was not present when he raced his quad...and forgot to slow down...and hit the safety wall...knocking himself out, busting his helmet and getting a pretty serious concussion. He is pretty good at keeping me away, at least my camera, when he smokes something. But I am pretty sure I have some stuff floating around. I did not have my camera with me on my last visit...when the other "special little fellow", Jerry...well he windowed his Busa motor. Jerry has a very nice drag bike....did not get many shots of it last year...think it made 6 passes prior to melting the motor. Something to do with it having an E85 tune and he tried running straight alcohol in it.

I should probably go easy on ole Skippy here. He is the guy that is going to help me build a bike...if my spinal cord stimulator ever gets dialed in. He wants my chopper, as it sits. He is going to buy me a new motor/trans/primary drive system....and anything else that I need to get that is staying with the chopper. So I will be getting a 131" Evo motor to replace the 100" Evo motor on my chopper...

Dang I wish I would have taken pics of a D35 Detroit Locker I exploded several years ago. Healthy 5.9 and D35 is not a marriage made in Heaven. On disassembly, it was chunks and pieces. Amazingly I was able to drive home with true one-wheel drive. The right side was locked up, with no left. It was most difficult to keep from squealing the tire upon takeoff.

I wish I could find the pictures of my old slant six I blew up. ( 16 years ago) it blew a chunk out the side you could fit your head in. The rod broke loose from the crank on the way up and went thru the side on the way down. The cylinder beside that one broke loose and on the way down got wedged in the crack bending it like a horseshoe and locking everything up. The only thing I was able to salvage was the head and intake
