This has been happening to our farmers for a couple of years now. Because of the tariffs, they couldn't sell their crops, lost their income, and lost or were about to lose their farms. Having your business fail is one thing. But losing a farm that your father and grandfather owned and succeeded in running it during their lifetimes is another. A big increase in suicides of small family farms due to mental stress. And America needs them more than ever now.
