This stuff is stupid hot. Who likes spicy pho here? It's the only ramen I've seen that's in a foil bag. Its like something you would encounter in some sort of game show. I had to hit the vanilla ice cream after 1 bite.

Has an interesting preparation: boil noodles, drain of most water and add liqued soup base and dried peppers, then stir fry for another 30 seconds. Enjoy....your time on the pot!

Generally I do NOT like spicy anything, very mild. At the start of the crisis, for the first time I can ever remember, I bought some Hamburger Helper, and very over priced. Essentially it turns out you are paying 3? bucks for 50c worth of noodles and a bag of overspiced crap. Bear in mind this was highly diluted. A pound of beef, a great big pot of spuds, and a large pot of veggies, all mixed for goolash stew. IT STILL is way too over spiced. I won't make THAT mistake again, if I live through this

I have about two years in the ROK. Spicy chicken cheese ramen was the cure for a shitty cold. As much red pepper as you could stand. Sweat dripping in it. Good stuff. Ahhh the memories

Its like that Dorito 'ghost pepper' chip (1) that is served in a little coffin. Nuts! Might as well do 'whip-hits' on a can of tear gas.

I can run with the big dogs when it comes to spicy food. I want some of this ramen!

@halfafish
Check your local .99 cent only store. That's where i found mine. Its only one i found thats instructed to cook like that. Not sure if i did it right but you'll find out. I need to translate what that chicken is saying...probably "Youll blow your *** out"

Lucky for me, I'm cast iron on both ends. This stuff doesn't bother me one bit either coming or going. I will check out the local Dollar Store. If not there, maybe one of the Asian grocery stores. I can see it on Amazon but you have to get a case of it. I like ramen, but maybe not 48 packages worth.

Turns out the 2x red package is the "nuclear 2x heat" variety and is somewhat dismissed as edible according to the reviews
Amazon.com: Customer reviews: Samyang Top Two Spicy Chicken Hot Ramen noodle Buldak Variety 10 pack (5 each:Hek Nuclear,Original)
More of a party favor with a scoville rating of 8404. That sounds a little conservative to me as thats the low end of a serrano chili. I actually rinsed the noodles of most spices and finished it but my boys were sweating out their sample tastes until they too joined me in the ice cream.

I love spicy food I put jalapenos on just about everything. But some of that stuff is ridiculous hot. 8800 isnt too bad but still pretty damn hot lol

Yes! I had this a couple times.
It is stupid hot, I prefer the mild or medium ones over this.
I do like spicy Pho. But I'm a little more partial to Korean food (well it helps being raised on it).
And yes I do like Kimchi.
BTW Korean women are freaking crazy when you get on their bad side.

My son loves ramen noodles, so I bought him some of these.
Watching him eating it was good entertainment.

@pishta I asked my mother she translates it to "Nuclear Chicken Fried Noodles".

There is a milder flavor that Id like to try. These had a good taste but the heat just kept building until it was unbearable.

Love spicy, gotta hunt down this ramen!

This is the spiciest sauce I've ever had:

Usually just need a drop about the diameter of a pencil eraser. Mixes well into soup, ketchup, ranch, any sauce really. One jar usually lasts over a year!

Try some of "Hot Ones" last dab sauces they tend to be over 2 million scoville , you can find them on Youtube or here is one of the kits lol .
Hot Ones Hot Sauces

@pishta, I was intrigued with your ramen experience. I have a pretty stout tolerance for spicy food so I went on the hunt for these noodles. It took three stops before I found them at a small Asian grocery store nearby. I just whooped them up for dinner, and they are nice! I could take it up a notch or two if I wanted to, but the flavor on these was most excellent. I will be buying more of them.

As an aside, I know my GF will not be stealing these left-overs...
