Do you have a 64-66 Early A Body with the single speed wiper setup? Do you want the variable speed system? Here’s a complete setup to add the variable wiper system - variable wiper motor (and linkage) with correct terminals for variable speed, the variable speed wiper switch and the wiring to connect the two together plus the wiring for washer pump and backup lights. All the wiring is connected with the appropriate terminals at the wiper switch and marked to where it goes after the switch - 4 to the wiper motor, 2 wire harness for backup wires, 1 for the washer pump and 1 wire for power in to the wiper switch. The power wire will need a terminal to connect it to a power source when the key is on. This setup was removed from a running, driving early A Body I parted out.

I believe this conversion can be used on a 63 if the wiper motor bracket from a 64-66 is used to relocate the motor. Firewall modifications may also be needed for the 63.

$150 plus shipping from 22657 for everything you see in the pics. I will not separate the wiring from the switch and motor due to the special connectors at the wiper switch.

I have 64 with no washer, what else do I need for conversion?

OK you would need the bottle/pump assembly - 65/66’s used a washer bottle and separate pump (you could also use a later bottle with the built in pump). Once the washer pump feed from the wiper switch is installed in an unused electrical cavity in the bulkhead, run another wire from the correspondent engine side bulkhead cavity to the pump. Install washer nozzles and the hose from the pump to the plastic Tee and from there to each nozzle. Any further questions, drop me a PM.

I have a tentative sale of this setup. I will update the thread upon receipt of the money order.

This is the variable speed - low - variable speed to high. So technically I guess you could call it a 2 speed

Hey I asked this this morning, But I don't see my post. Guess I'll get in line.

see Post 9 where I said I have a tentative sale and will update as needed. If the sale does fall thru you will be 2nd in line behind flingdingo. In the meantime I shall look through my wiring harness and see if I can come up with the special connector used on the wiper switch.

Im interested if the pending sale falls through

Hey I asked this this morning, But I don't see my post. Guess I'll get in line.

I have come up with another special wiper motor connector and switch, the variable speed wiper motor with arms and pivots (as seen in the picture) and the correct color coded wiring that goes between the two. What I DO NOT have is the separate OEM back up light harness that gets it’s power and plugs into the wiper switch via a separate terminal (I might be able to make one up possibly) and the brown wire that plugs into the unused cavity on the special connector on the wiper switch and goes to the firewall junction block. If not concerned about the correct color I can make up this single wire harness with the correct terminals and connector for the washer pump.

I believe flingdingo asked first as I never saw a post from LO23M8B first asking to be put on the list if not paid for - I did see and reply to his question about these switches.

I had a question on just the backup portion of this changeover. Would the backup light part work with the backup switch found on column shift setups used on 65 Darts/Valiants. Yes it does. Connect the wires that were going to the bulkhead connector to the switch

As I understand it, you have this:

Do you have a 64-66 Early A Body with the single speed wiper setup? Do you want the variable speed system? Here’s a complete setup to add the variable wiper system - variable wiper motor (and linkage) with correct terminals for variable speed, the variable speed wiper switch and the wiring to connect the two together

But you are missing this:

plus the wiring for washer pump and backup lights.

Correct?

If so I will take it! Wiring is easy enough.

PM me with price and payment details. Thanks!

The 2nd conversion without the backup light harness and wire for was washer pump has been sold. Still waiting on the money order to arrive from the initial sale.

@LO23M8B i have found yet another variable speed wiper switch and another 65 Dart harness with the special wiper connector and the wiper motor as shown in the original post. It also has the wire for the washer pump. PM me if still interested.

Two of the 3 setups are sold. Still have one more setup with the wiper motor, wiper switch connector with wiring including the correct wire for the wash motor, and variable speed wiper switch
