I just don’t see the vast majority of the World as a place I need to be armed in.

i agree, only a few times did i feel the need to be armed
none of those times did i have an intergalactic pause button i could push to pause the situation, run home, grab a gun from the safe, put in a magazine, rack the slide to load on into the pipe and return to the scene.

luckily all those times, i had woken up that morning and decided to carry...just in case
