Dartin for Divorce

It is your show....lol

Well it's "my show" with a great mind and set of eyes making sure I do things correct! It's all back together right now... well except for this... went to put on the steel braided fuel line. I read on here that it was a 1/4 NPT or a 3/8 NPT fitting... that was a lie, its definitely an inverted flare... when I take the tap and die set back to the store tomorrow I will see if they have a inverted flare fitting since I dont have one that is the right size so I can install that pretty line.

How did I know I'd get pointed to the correct parts? Lol. The metal hard line is not as pretty as the steel braided line... :poke: definitely would have been cheaper though

I thought about cutting my metal line with about 1.5in tube left on it essentially making my own "fitting." Same thing right?

Something like that... except I have little itty bitty instruments to apply it with. This **** just came it on smear it with the finger and call it a day :D
Itty bitty my ***! I've had several crowns. They use the same gun I use to glue quarter panels on and fix fiberglass with. Tastes the same too. LOL

That's funny! You are correct though, most of the dental materials taste like crap. I try to rinse all my patients mouths out real fast right after I put anything in there that way they dont have the nasty taste for to long.

Well dentists during every recession get crushed financially if they dont have a tip top running business. Most offices have 70% overhead which is way to much. Right now I know tons of dentists struggling, but it should only be temporary.

Now about my damn fuel line haha. Jk. I'll go get the correct fitting in the am and get this pretty line on there so we can start and time this sucker tomorrow!

10-4. Screw them baffles. Hah

Doesn't look as nice as this! I need a longer stud for the carb/air filter though. Tomorrow all I have to do is drop in the radiator (2 minutes), yank that mechanical choke wire out of the grommet, install battery and attach the exhaust to the header collectors.

I also got some wire loom to clean up the wires on the firewall.

Yowza, progress! Looks good, maybe take it out for a spin tomorrow?

A spin would be nice! It's been raining here like crazy but that won't stop me. As long as it isnt spilling any fluids I think we will be good!

That power steering pump sticks out like a sore thumb

That's a different take it off, scrape, sand, and paint it project for another weekend. At least you can tell the wife your not taking the engine back apart. (For now) lol.
