Hey all, was breaking in my motor and had to stop to fix a fuel leak when I restarted, motor wouldn't crank, everything else works, no blown fuses, MSD lights up. checked wiring and found nothing. I'm lost. Thanks for any help.

Jeff

Starter went bad. Neutral safety switch not working or senses gear shift in gear. If a manual clutch switch isn't sensing clutch depressed.

Check the neutral safety switch wiring

put your ignition switch on and check the voltage starting from the battery on - it may be a loose wire somewhere - power or ground, unless the starter went bad.

what do you mean, "when you restarted"?

Sounds like he was breaking it in, had a fuel leak, shut the motor off, fixed the leak and went to restart it to continue the break in. Not ideal but what else can you do when you have a fuel leak?

Jeff, define "wouldn't crank". Like it turns over but no fire, won't turn over at all, Turn's over really hard, etc. If headers check for burned plug wires, starter wires etc.

Start with the easy stuff
Does the battery have a full charge?

Whew, glad you cleared that up

Alls well, Thanks for the help. The neutral safety switch took a crap, motor is broke in and purring like a monster.
