Any morel hunters out there?
This one looks the closest, can't say I have seen those other shapes, maybe they weren't done growing.
When harvesting them cut them off at the base, carry them in an onion sack so the spores are falling to the forest floor as you are moving around. No one is really sure if this does any good, but it certainly can't hurt.
Once you cut them off you should be able to see from the bottom of the stem all the way to the tip of the cap. There are others you might find that will have a fuzzy substance inside, kinda like what a cocoon would be wrapped in.
