Hi guys,

I'm Fabien, 25 from Dunkirk, France.

I'm proud owner of a 1970 Barracuda, well you'd say it's not an A-Body, but it's got a 170 slant 6 in it from factory. (Yes, my VIN's 5th digit is a A !)
Some weird product of the Chrysler-Nekaf factory in Holland.

So most of my mechanical side of the car is more familiar to you than to Cuda / Challenger guys !

Welcome! ...........Post up some pictures of the "weird product of the Chrysler-Nekaf factory in Holland."

Glad to have you here sorry I only have American beer in my fridge but grab one and enjoy the fun here.

Hey, Welcome! 170, slant six, smallest Mopar Motor for sure. By 70, Mopar had gone to a 198 by 70. Stay safe!

If it was an A93 coupe with the 198, the engine digit in the VIN would be a B.

Do you have any photos?

Here is the car.
I have the original flat hood, 14" steels and heavy 3-piece spoked hubcaps.

The Datsun-like rear view mirrors have to go.
It is still solid but needs a lot of bodywork. Some has been done in the 80's/90's with buckets of filler...

About the european specific options it is pretty cool, it has power brakes, front discs, rimblow steering wheel, stick shift (3speed though), console, and a sweet tan interior.

It's not an a93, sadly Nekaf Mopars do not have no fender tag nor build sheet.
My vin is BH23A...

Nekaf/Chrysler also built 170 units of BH23H cars, yes, you read well : 340ci Barracuda, non 'Cuda.

I've got somewhere a scan of a Chrysler Benelux sales brochure for 1970 with the 170ci, I'll post the pic later.

Three speed stick cars are awesome, very fun to drive.

The brochure would be very cool to see!

That is a really weird placement for the mirrors.
Slant 6 E body cars are really a rare site here in the states. They can be found at large meets. Like the big show and swap meet in Carlie Pennsylvania. 400+ Acres of land, all MoPar in mid July.

(This would be worthwhile vacation for you.)

While this is an A body site, there is the sister site, FEBO. But you can stay, your more than welcome to hang around this MoPar crazy house. I have a ‘73-340-4spd Cuda with the same hood. I’ll restart working in it in 2 years. (Retirement time!) They look to dam cool with that hood!

Welcome aboard!

Welcome to the site, very interesting car you have there.
I can't wait to see the documents as well.

Welcome to FABO, Fabien!
Great pic of your Barracuda with the castle in the background.

That is no castle, that is an abbey - Mont Sant Michel.

Yes, there were some interesting European built Mopars, I have one from Switzerland.

Unlike my first thoughts when I was buying it (or most Mopar guys), I don't want to swap it to a V8.

After 4 years owning it I love how it handles with the ligtweigh front end.
I'm (slowly) building a cast crank 225 with long rods and hypereutectic pistons. Big head job too. I want CR to be around 11:1 luckily France is a rare place in europe we can easily find e85!
Should rev up quickly and still have plenty of low end torque!
Before further questions I choosed the cast crank/block to save weight both on the front wheels and in the rotating assembly.
