Wife and I stumbeled across him at a bluegrass festival... cool dude.
 
I saw him a few years ago. I had no idea who he was at the time.
That was one of the best shows I've been to.
He interacted with the audience, told stories about some of the songs, and in general was a good performer.

Agreed, great performer. I was so hoping that he would recover and write a song about his experience. He will be sadly missed.
 
Man, the wuhan got JP. I saw him a few years back at the state theatre in Ithaca, NY. Angel from Montgomery is one of my favorite songs to play.
