It's Wedge Wednesday!
Good morning :D.

I've got to go to a refinery today, have a circuit that's dropping out. Don't mind at all cause I'm bored but have to watch a 20 minute safety video in the lobby cause 1 year access at that refinery is expired. Hope they have it set up for social distancing and are cleaning headset/keyboards.

What kind of refinery?

Easy enough to wash hands after using a keyboard. But a headset that you have no clue who used it?

Gotta love that site specific safety training

We don't realise how many things we touch daily until we start paying attention. Cooties when we were kids have taken on a whole new meaning.

Part of my daily cleaning at start of shift is the phone including the handset and cradle. Only other person that uses it is the other tech on my shift. Most likely if one of us gets this **** we are both gonna have it. There are too many jobs where we have to work close. Although I think I will start wearing a dust mask in those situations. Only a few people wearing them so far. Have too many times where I go out on the floor to work on machines and the operators are up my butt. In some cases I need them there to show me something or run something to show a problem or test things. But most of the time they just have nothing to do cause their machine is down and get nosey -need to back off while I work. I have been using my tape measure like this guy:poke:on a few people.

The only thing I have been using a glove for at this point is pumping gas. Cause you have to grab the handle, punch keys etc. Just a lot of handling. Otherwise I try not to touch what I don't need to, but once I have touched anything in public, my hands are 'dirty' and need washed. Have sanitizer to use in car after each stop till I get to a sink.

I would probably have to spend all day in gloves at the rock farm. With all the freight tickets to be signed by the drivers. Lock the front door and make them go to the side window.

As usual, not getting done what i wanted. But im slathering black rust paint on the underside of the 3 hood pieces. Then figure out where to store it until im ready to install them. While paint dries i will start pulling diff out.

Same. Finally decided to mow the grass. Started right up. Was on it for maybe 10 minutes and the mower died. :wtf:
Won't restart. :BangHead: Starter runs strong, but not firing up at all. Pulled a wire and checked for spark. Not seeing any, but in bright sun, so not 100% sure. Definitly flooded at this point, but not sure if that is a symptom or the problem. After carb problems last year, would not surprise me. Coffee time. Let it sit, pull plugs....
I just wanted to mow the grass and not have to fix anything this morning...:soapbox:

Good luck to you. I better go over and see if the old girl will start. I need to get her serviced for the season.

No spark? Just grab ahold of the wire to check it in the sunlight. LOL No don't. we don't want you to go into heart arrhythmia.

The magneto..........Really hurt......could not let go, good thing the engine stopped running......I was trying to rig a remote kill switch. It did not work, so I pulled a wire, and Bam!!! It killed it, thank who ever...

Got wheels off,and various fasteners marinating. Have a coffee and see if i can remove the rear axle. The 8.25 pinion is a little shorter, like 1” but between offsetting spring pin and the length of yoke spline i should be good. Plus pulling a couple leafs out. Ah be arite...
