For those into the fastest street car action.

Huh. That's pretty good in this day & age. Car Craft and a bunch of others went away last year, Hot Rod was over 125 pages 4-5 yrs ago, now under 100. Everyone going to online content.

I really don’t see an actual street car on any of those mag covers. I wonder how many of those cars still retain there factory sound deadener and working factory A/C?

My 1972 Duster didn’t have sound deadener or factory air conditioning 44 years ago. Lol.

have a copy of that, give away at the hot rod store. nice to read cause it's larger print for us older folks a.k.a. senior citizens!
have to look at it later, make sure that the subscription is not $12 PLUS postage and handling...Thanks!

I’d subscribe...except they are killing so many print media and I’ve already been screwed this year. Don’t want to get screwed again.

I subscribed. One dollar an issue is cheap.

I agree. But as the old people like me die off ( I hope jPar doesn’t see this...he still thinks I’m 39) print media is going away. I can’t get my 18 year old to read anything he can’t find online. Sometimes it’s hard to find 150 yer old books on line.

I don't understand how magazines can go out of business and not be obligated to send you your money back? My American snowmobiler went out of business, but luckily SnoWest picked up the subscription and is sending me magazines.. and even luckier than that they're more geared towards the mountain sleds that I ride...

My wife's cousin and her husband both lost their jobs when the local newspaper in their town shut down around a year or so ago.

I first got burned in 1997 when my all time favorite magazine Super Stock & Drag Illustrated got bought out by Hot Rod only two issues after I did a 6 year renewal for 72 bucks. I couldn’t get a refund and I got 70 issues of HR rammed up my rear. I wasn’t happy. Most of those went into the crapper or I gave them to my dad.

I was dressed down at the swap meet and lunch. When I dress up with a shirt, tie and jacket you can see I’m 39.
You must have a wig with that shirt tie and jacket! LOL to cover all that white hair LOL...
See my magazine says as long as I ride a snowmobile I'll be forever 21...

And I’ll still be seconds faster than you on nitrous. Lol. Cheater.

No don't get all offended your playing with the big boys now LOL... Some bigger than others...lol..:D..

Hell you are to scared to run 10’s let alone low 9’s. My 8.40’s running Daytona would have scared you poopless.

I guess that's the problem I have with drag racing is waiting 2 hours in the boiling hot sun on black pavement for that short 11 to 8 second run...
remember my snowmobiles are number one and I don't think you would last very long at 8000 feet... Want to do a little math here... my snowmobile has 160 + horsepower direct port fuel injected 2 stroke... For its 500 lb.. that's like your car having eight or nine hundred horsepower LOL... Riding that kind of horsepower at six, seven, and eight thousand feet can get a little tiring if you're not used to it...
Come on up to the peak of Mount Bailey at 8000 feet... Overlooking diamond lake below...
