Any morel hunters out there?

Iv never eat them iv always been scared too. Every spring I see all my friends on Facebook hunting them and talking about how good they are. I just stumbled across these. One of my dogs got into the neighbors trash and drug it down into my yard and I was cleaning it up and just looked down and there it was the more I looked the more I found lol there is quite a few of them.

Pick them, slice them in half from top to bottom, put them in a bowl of salty water, that will help clean them and kill any bugs, the bugs if any will usually float to the top. Take them out of the water pat dry with some paper towels and roll them in flour. Fry them in real butter until they are just a little crispy.

They are soooo good you can't sit still while eating them, they have a nice earthy smokey flavor that can't be beat.
