Saw this on my local craigslist, it's in pahrump just outside of Las Vegas and figured it may interest someone here.

Your wife said you can not spend another penny on that car.....I heard her.

And that, my friends, is why I kept the complete $90 six pack set up I put on the Fury 15 years ago when I sold the car last summer.... yes, that is accurate - the guy only wanted 90 bucks for it when I bought it 23 years ago.... I'm going to put it on the Shelby Dakota when I remove the throttle body injection, eventually.

Looked up the ad, doesn't say SB or RB- no pics, either... :( Not that I've got an extra $1900 right now, anyways! Can someone say "stimulus check"?

Just the intakes are selling for a fortune. I dont know why edelbrock wont do another run of them.

Big block setups are fairly prevalent. Small-block setups are much harder to come by, at least the intake. I would discourage anyone from getting one with old carburetors unless you're trying to do a restoration that you feel calls for that. It's challenging enough to have a six pack set up and running correctly with new carbs

Haha I barely even know how to set up and tune my new AVS2... :p

Always wanted one, but my pockets are not nearly deep enough.

Neither are mine my friend, neither are mine. That's almost as much as my car cost

I have been running a six-pack for approximately two years now it has been quite a learning curve! My old setup was a M1 single plane with a tweaked thermoquad 850 it was a screaming combo. I'm into my 6-pack approximately $2,500 and have gained about 20 horses LOL but I love it and other people love it it's not going anywhere in the near future.

So a 6 pack is just what my mutt needs

Lol. When my wife turned like 22 or 23 I told her "dang babe you're getting old. I think my lease is up and I'm going to have to trade you in for a newer younger model." Quickly her response to that was, "trust me! You couldn't do any better than me and I for sure could do much better than you..." Ouch! The truth stung a little bit with that one.

I see BB intakes all the time new for 3-400 dollars on E-bay. Dang small block ones typically bring $700 and up for a used one.

Start pricing little stuff like choke, gaskets, coil brackets, throttle brackets and add it up very quickly.

I've always been intrigued by the six pack and would like to give it a try when I get there on my project. The STR12 is in the hunt too. What carbs would you recommend for the six pack?

You can still get the RB new from Summit.
Small block ones have not been made for a while.

EFI 6 pack is the way to go, I have a BB and a SB version using F&B throttle bodies and am working on a Fitech "tri-power" (aka 6 pack) for a 440 equipped 69 Belvedere wagon.
