I would say up front that the Fitech "tripower" system is a pretty good way to go now. Had that been around when I was doing mine I probably would have gone that way. Far cheaper and pretty easy to install.

My Cuda is using a FAST EZ 1.0 controller and harness which is ok but is strictly self learning, meaning you have to live with whatever it does. My Challenger has a Holley HP ECU/Harness with a Hall Effect distributor and I have full control over spark and fuel. There is a steep learning curve with controllable EFI but once you have it and understand it (even just in the basic sense) it is so much nicer that not having it. Both of my cars have MSD 6AL ignitions so there is that. The self learning aspect is cool but to be able to pull or add timing or fuel anywhere in the RPM range is so versatile I see why the tuners are able to do what they do.
