If you really want to go that route, instead of stock, you can possibly find what you need on ebay. Type in and search 32/36 Weber Carb and Clifford/Redline intake. I'm pretty sure both the 38/38 or 32/36 carbs both fit onto the same Clifford intake.

setup that Rusty Rat Rod posted, but it's on my 225. That's why it's important to check it will fit on your 170 with the 32/36. Even with this carb you want, it might be too much and you will have to purchase extra smaller jets and air mixture screws. Rusty Rat Rod would probably know more.
