What do you miss doing?

looks like all the chinese food places just closed up shop in town, not even take out

I only work part time but I miss my boss 2 days a week we hang out and give each other a bad time but still get our work done. Just us 2 in the body shop but no work coming in the door.

Spending fun time with my friends of 30 years playing music and enjoying a cold beer together, sleeping with my wife that works, been on the couch for 12 days.
This is my friend Randall checking out my acoustic Bass.

I’ve seen you mention her before but man does this help put things into perspective. My good friends dad has COPD, much different than what your girl had obviously. This is a terrifying time for him and unfortunately his wife is still working. She is doing everything she can to avoid bringing it home but you just never know.

That would be the biggest concern. A person who has limited breathing capacity such as COPD would have a lot of difficulty handling even more diminished breathing. Please keep them isolated as much as possible, that’s probably the biggest sector of “underlying medical problems”.

They are doing all they can. Kids haven’t seen him in a few weeks and he has not left the house.

I miss my youthful enthusiasm. I miss getting my money's worth when I get a haircut. I miss Sunoco 262 at under 50 cents a gallon. I miss Speedy Gonzales, "the fastest mouse in all of Mehico" on Saturday mornings, because he has fallen into the dark bottomless pit of political incorrectness. I miss Whitlock Auto and having 3 different speed shops in every town. I miss Barn Dances and Sock Hops. I miss my parents. I miss gas stations that are also garages and not convenience stores. I miss the honesty of a handshake and the integrity of a man's word.
Family dinners, congregations and social gatherings will begin again. Theaters, restaurants and stadiums will reopen. People will emerge from their homes and go back to work. It will be hard, this changes many things, but they all will return in one form or another. Change is inevitable, and not just because of the virus.
I miss the things I know I'll never see again.

believe it or not, me and the boy watched a few episodes of the Andy Griffith show last night...his first time seeing it

Our "stay home" was recently extended to April 30th. Local track cancelled the Jr Street Orientation/Chassis Cert/T & T on the 24th. Been hearing rumors that a couple of tracks are thinking about just pulling the plug on the season already...

Had to think about it...not much at my age and level of health.
Going to food and hardware, auto stores/shops without worry is about it.

i just took the kids out to a local park...only to find it was closed
that was but of a downer

so, i tossed them all in the Duster and laid some rubber back into my own county, and went to a park there

We are staying home except for a weekly grocery run and the occasional trip to the hardware and/or auto parts store. Been catching up on projects, Honey do and Automotive. The cars have never been cleaner. Pretty soon I'll have to start in on the lawn. Should be fishing more. All the Best, this too shall pass.

love that guy
got to listen to him live at moody a few times

Nice! We bought tickets for an Alaskan Cruise this fall with him. I hope we can make it with all that is going on. I don't mind telling you, I was a bit nervous about Cruises before, and especially now.

Easter is Sunday and I am doing a video call with my family. My parents are watching their grand children paint their eggs. We all live within ten minutes of my parents but because of this stupid virus this is the first time in 29 years I haven’t done this with my family. Sunday is going to be brutal.

The wife and i will also miss getting together with all of our family, the grandchildren would come over and dye/color the eggs , the wife make a meat like soup called Bosch , an old Polish type of food, my youngest son has something called Zoom where we all can do a group meeting over the internet all at the same time so at least we can see and talk with each other but just not in person , our oldest son is Roman Catholic Priest and we can not go to Mass on Easter Sunday, but he is doing the Mass thought Youtube so at least we can see the Mass that way , everyone has to come up with other ways to stay in contact with family and friends thought trying times !!
