My favorite place to eat in Italy!!! People from all over the world go here to have a huge variety of freshly prepared food and enjoy the comraderie of eating/drinking with the locals. Google Maps: Report Inappropriate Image832C5D6B-CCA1-4BEC-962A-F7805254A025.jpeg

We went here last November and had the best time. Even though I didn’t speak Italian, I was always understood and served with a smile. They even had a live band and they really livened up the market experience for all. We sat next to a cooking academy one night and watched the students through a glass wall as they learned to prepare our future favorite meals.

Has anyone else experienced this venue?

I was too enthralled while I was in this market to take any photos, but here I am standing on top of the duomo in Florence before we went to eat.

I hope that you are not correct my friend. Italy was fabulous and the people were awesome. I am looking forward to visiting there again. God bless you my Italian friends!
With Corona in the air that place is probably not being used (maybe for hospital beds??).

32 years ago I was in a back alley "eatery" in Hong Kong. 20+ vendors, 20 pots of mystery meat and a huge tub of white rice all under 60 watt bulbs on strings. About $3 HK (.50 US$) a ladle of anything on your rice or noodles. Everyone was blue collar and there were long tables at the end past the beer and soda vendors. I think we spent about 3 hours there from 9 to midnight eating and getting drunk on dollar you call it beers and food. Delicious!
