I need a parking brake cable tensioner for a 2001 Dodge Dakota quad cab.
Mine is rusty and about to break.
I can not find one anywhere.
Part 10.
52010096AD factory part number.

Did you check rock auto ?
I did my 2004 a couple years ago. Replaced all cables. Got everything from them. I may have the old one if you can't find one

I have tried everywhere, short of the dealer, nobody has one or shows one for that year.

I'll find my old one.
Post a pic
If you want it, it's yours. I'll sandblast it too
I think you said you've got relatives in my area ?

My in-laws.
I live in Cranberry Township.
That would be greatly appreciated Dfr360Cuda.

Here's the adjuster and a cable that was salvageable.
I put it in the car and will sandblast it at work. My Dakota is a 2004 so I'm just assuming it should work.

My Dakota has 4 wheel discs. I was replacing the emergency brakes and cables. I figured it'd be a good time to change pads and rotors too. Here's the rotors if you need them too.

Similar but still a little different than mine, shorter.
Do not think the cables will reach.

So here's the same part...
Sandblasted and adjusting nut wound all the way out. I gotta believe that this is the part. I know Dodge at some point eliminated the standard cab and just made one frame. Club cab and quad cab went on the same frame. They made up the difference with the length of the bed.

Went junkin on Friday ,looked at a few, there is a difference between a regular/extended and quad cab.
The quad cab is different.
They all were rotted.
The quad cab looks like this.
