Man ,I hate junk drawers.
I’ve been fighting for 34 yrs over this thing.
The wife wants it. ????

You wanna see the junk in my drawers??

I have them but despise them at the same time. My wife's storage pits are on a whole 'nuther level.

Yeah, and every 6 months or so > I < have to go through it because it won't close. My dear wife just shoves it closed, sometimes with super human strength, and I can barely get it open to reduce the mess. I swear somewhere in there is a menu from the last century.

Here's my junk drawer:.................................................................Oops!!!

No junk drawers in my house...can’t stand them. My parents had several when I was growing up and I always hated them.

We do have a general stuff drawer in the kitchen, but it is well organized and we know exactly what’s in it.

There are only two small drawers in the house that have random things that don’t belong with anything else and they are clearly labeled. It’s where the odd stuff lands.

My philosophy has always been that if something you are looking for isn’t in one of just a few places, we don’t have it.

WOW!!! How do you find anything with all those drawers?????????????:poke:

You realize that many of us HATE YOU!!!:mob::poke::rofl:
LOL! I just hate wasting time pulling drawers open looking for stuff. Labels just make it easier and less wasted time and effort to find what I want.

Tool box is quite orderly, and I know what tool is where. Have several plastic containers marked misc. but most nuts, bolts, washers, etc. organized. My dog goes out at 7,2,7,11, but that damn junk drawer vexes me, it laughs in my face. Pass the Ruger. ....Actually the dog goes out when he wants, little bastard.

I tried labeling a bunch of drawers and segregating all kinds of stuff.....about 4 weeks later I had drawers scattered all over the garage with everything mixed up in all the drawers. Benjamin Franklin's son said..."A place for everything and everything all over the place"

You guys have a good eye....Ruger it is (357 Mag). Bought it over 35 years ago so it's one of those old school heavy duty long lasting firearms!! And it's BEAUTIFUL!!!

I know that saying. Except my place is 24x32. Ten and one-half feet high.
More like a place for most everything and everything near its place!

My wife keeps fussing at me and telling me, (nobody else wouldn't keep junk like that in their drawers, some day your going to look and I'm going to throw it all away) then I say you never know when it will be needed. This post makes me happy, maybe I'm normal after all! :)

Dave, that's cool! And I always thought the Japanese came up with that because it was part of our 5's at work, good to know it came from Benjamin Franklin!
