anyone use this front sway bar on their 67-72 abody?
Got to cut the 2 factory welds on the K Member mount brackets to get them to open up with a thin cut off wheel.
Can put the new rubber bushings in a bucket of boiling water, then push them over the end of the sway bar when hot. Some grease on the eyelet of the sway bar helps too.
New sway bar black rubber bushings are available on ebay.
Clamp the 2 mount brackets back together with your wire feed welder, like factory and quench them with cold water right away so as to not burn the rubber.
Paint it up and good to go.
Might have to fab up the missing steel 2 piece mount bracket, or rework one from a B Body or whatever . . .
