Today I know I made the right decision

This thread, COVID

Voluntarily........out of a job

Whenever it was April1? that WA and ID were getting into/ towards isolation "lockdown" I was supposed to go back to work that Wed 4/1. I had called work and told them I'm stayin' home until this is over.

So at some point a week? later I called the CEO and my super--who is about my age and low on immune system---my super was at home, and the CEO breeched the subject "maybe" I could do some work at home

NADA

So this morning......4/16---I called to see what if anything was up, about working at home. The CEO says "actually we are closed, 'we have an infection.' " Did not go into details. Thank you VERY much (NOT) for calling all the employees and warning us

So I called the super--who is hunkered down at home since I guess 4/1--AND HE AND HIS GIRLFRIEND ARE SICK WITH IT. Evidently they got a light case, but still---He thinks he got it from one of the salesmen, which means there are at least two people at work infected

Nice to know you work (NOT) for a company who gives a **** about you and your health

I also called the local health district to see if I should be tested--maybe I'm a carrier? They called me back and asked a few questions, and told me "that as long as it's been" since I've been to work, and since I've had no symptoms, they don't see the need for testing.
Good decision on your part to stay home,
More people should have done this.
