MY ERRROR... IT WOULD NEED TO BE A 1973.

This is an alternative to not being able to find a GOOD complete door.

I will attempt to explain. I would like to get the "inside" part of the passenger side of a door.
The car was a 'Drag Car' all of it's life and as such the Body is excellent, but, the entire inside of the door was cut away, I assume for weight reduction.
As seen in the photo the exterior is near perfect, the entire car is this way. I buffed some of the door forward paint to get a good look at it. I intend to put this together and on the street. (retirement Project)

Now in the second picture you can see what was done to the inside of the door.
There has to be a bad, damaged right door out there some where that the inside half is good and could be cut away and sent to a person in need! Yes I can weld and fix it if I have the inside part of the door. Yes, I am willing to pay for it, not asking for anything free.
If you can help this disabled/retired Vet out it woud be greatly appreciated, So please look around if you have a worthless crunched, even rusty (to a point) door, could you cut out the the part I need.

I appreciate the attention, Thanks
Ken

The exterior of the door, it is just too nice to trash!

The interior of the same door!
(if it could be cut down the sides from the window and across the bottom of a damaged door I can save this thing!)

If I were you and wanted to put this car back to stock I would get a complete door and be done with it. I'm assuming this car has vent less door glass.
73 door should be one year only with respect to regulator and glass. 74-76 doors should be the same.

Thank you for the info, I wasn't for sure regarding the years.
I would be just as happy to have a new door but I have asked before and could not find a decent one, this was my second best option. Yes, ventless window, I have the glass.

I have a mint R/L complete doors from a 71 dart???
Sorry, but I have a 71 Scamp as a parts car with near perfect doors, I'm wanting the full glass and not the wing windows.
I appreciate the offer, Thank You.

Ken

Would a 73 Duster door be the same?
I was told before that it wouldn't, I just dont know.

Here is a pic of the driver side which is fine.

Have you seen the craigslist ads from the guy in Apache Junction?
