Agreed , the biggest confusion is caused by the lack of consistancy between regions in how and who they test and how they report the results . Some Provinces here only report after confirming an initial positive with more testing , on March 23 Quebec started reporting the initial positive and our cases skyrocketed , we have been on a regional lockdown with police blockades at entry points and we seem to have actually reduced the curve in areas outside of montreal wher half the numbers come from . The region I am in the Pontiac had 5 cases as of monday night all in a nursing home where the vast majority of cases are turning up , thats in a region larger than some US states . It's a huge hassle but worth it to keep this virus at bay , remember you can't go just by daily numbers you have to look at the weeks as a whole to get an even curve .
