Freds 73 Scamp restore on a budget

When I paint, it's usually outside on a nice spring day before the pollen starts kicking in. Or a small window in the fall is best around here. Summertime is usually high humidity and to say you restored your whole car by yourself means just that. I'm loving your build! Quality, design, paint, are all top notch! My ole 69 dart made me hesitate toward the rear tire clearance issue and leaned toward the duster - demom. I had the 75th 1975 dart sport. Hang 10, 318-4sp with a sunroof. Gave her some juice and sold it to a friend who wrapped it around a bridge but was a cool a body. The 73' scamp has taken me to a whole other level tho and I am appreciating them WAY more while watching your build progress. That's called treating a car to treats! Its only money! Ha.ha.
The shop I'm painting in is real old not much light in the paint booth and have to take a big *** light in there to see how the paint is laying down but I tell ya it's better than doing it out side. You are talented if you can paint outside Iv'e done a lot of painting out side and around here not a big problem with pollen but bugs are real bad in the summer.
I wanted a 68 dart like I had as a kid but soon found out that it was cheaper to go with the Scamp that was in real good shape and not much rust. Never gonna sell it I'll have close to 40 grand in it when all done and doing the work myself. Not a cheep hobby but WTF I sure enjoy it.
