So I was really struggling trying to sort out how to get a tach signal from the EFI system to the Dakota dash. After reading dozens of forum how to posts, each more complex than the last, I finally admitted defeat and called Dakota tech line. What a great bunch of folks if you are curious. I use one of their dashes in my race car (630+HP Cuda) and I assure it has not been treated kindly over the years. Their product is quality top to bottom. I will include a pix of my Cuda dash. Apologies it is a bit barbaric! So after my ten minute dilemma explanation to the ever patient technician at Dakota he simply replies yep that is a serious pain in the butt, we know. He then replies as a result we have created a patch BIM cord and box that solves that! Hah! Pix attached, I tried to do it so you can read part number.
