Cold Case

-
So I went to install my new Cold case rad. and noticed that for some reason not know to me Dodge decided to bump out the drivers side of the rad support 1" more than the passenger side. Im sure they had a good reason for doing so with the stock setup but with my Gerst front suspension and motor mounts it made no sense to have a crooked radiator. Also by cutting out the offending offsets I gained more room for the fan, I now have 3 1/2 from the water pump pulley to the rad. I think I read somewhere on here that you need 3 1/4 spacing in order to run a Viscous fan clutch setup?

Which model radiator did you wind up using?

If it hasnt been wrecked in the front , I `m thinking it would be for fan clearance , with the engine offset to the right/pass. side , the engine is actually setting in there crooked .
I would have welcomed that on my 68 fastback , for a hair more fan clearance , as my engine is offset 1 3/8'' .

Yeah but im not talkin about side to side offset..im talkin front to back... the drivers side is out an inch farther towards the back if the car than the passenger side...if toy look at the before picture i posted you can see how far the mounting boss sticks out on thr driver side and its half that on the passenger....

Gotcha , drivers side should be farther away from the engine if done on purpose .
