Nothing wrong with black grilles are painted bumpers. It’s all personal taste and budgets, maybe some people hatred of polishing chrome

That car looks the part, and it works with all the modification you've done. If it were a stock 67, I'm not sure it would work. My '67 came with a blacked out '68 grille, it didn't look right with the chrome bumper. Looks better up on the wall.
